Always a good show!
Cyndi Lauper was a great addition! A good act, not likely I would see, but combined with Rod, much better than the typical warm-up. Unfortunately, this hour also cut into Rod's set a bit. Cyndi had a full hour and a duet with Rod during his set. Rod did less than 90 mins + an encore, but in the past he did 2 full hours + encore. He certainly has the catalog to go as long as he wants to. Would have liked to hear a song or two from his Great American Songbook albums.
The venue at Saratoga was very nice ( we were underneath and down low). It was jammed on the grass, better get there WAY EARLY! $15 canned beer? really?
